aka how I learned to cook on my mission.
aka how we're baking our cakes these days, since we haven't had a working oven/stove since the power outage over a month ago (but who's counting?), and the toaster oven is too small for a cake.
Step 1- Prepare your cake batter or cake mix as usual.
Step 2- Grease a microwave-safe container of your choice. (I use a plastic bowl or Tupperware.) Pour cake mix into the bowl.
Step 3- Microwave for 10 minutes. Increase microwave time in 30-second increments if your cake isn't quite done at 10 minutes.
Step 4- Decorate yo' cake. (A tip: wait for it to cool first, so your whipped cream doesn't melt like this!)
Step 5- EAT! The cake will be a little more dense (ie- not as fluffy) as oven-baked cake, but it'll still be moist and yummy. Enjoy!
