I was so busy this past weekend, it has taken me a whole week to blog about it!
After kayaking on Friday, several of us went to a Legwarmers concert. It. was. awesome!
Pardon the blurry photos. In case you couldn't tell from our sweet outfits, the Legwarmers are an 80's cover band. For the record, I wear all of these pieces in my normal life (minus the pom pom headband). |
Sunday was no less packed than the rest of the weekend. After an uplifting Sunday at church (and feeling thankful for the weekly reminder of the ways in which I can improve myself and draw closer to God), I went to a baby blessing and open house for my friend Victoria's new baby girl, Ellie. I was Victoria's freshman year RA in college, and I was so excited to share in her family's special day!
Sunday night ended with a farewell pie night for Cynthia. She is moving to The-middle-of-nowhere, Virginia (yep, that's the name of the town) to take an awesome lawyer job, and I'm really proud of her. We'll definitely miss her 'round these parts. Cynthia is the first violinist in our string quartet, so... if you know a great violinist who wants to play with us, let me know! I promise we're really fun!
I'm excited for this coming weekend (Memorial Day weekend) and hope to have lots of fun things to share! :)
I die over the 80's gear! You guys look great!
